Game! Got Game

I just got my first copy of Game! Magazine, this month’s issue actually, and so far, it reads good.

 

I’ve been a stranger to the game publications scene after GamesMaster Philippines died, mostly because I wasn’t ready for another heartbreak. I wanted to work under the GM banner since, well, writing plus gaming equals the perfect day job for me. Not to mention that it would be cool to rub elbows with Iya Villania.

 

 

Anyways, back to Game! Magazine, the whole idea of focusing on the MMORPG scene is simply brilliant. The fact that the Philippines is overcrowded with MMO players is the main reason why the magazine rocks. The staff seems so new age, offering a blog-ish feel to their articles. That of course, is a good thing since it lets the readers have a good look on what the word genuine means. You don’t get the same drama, the same bias, as the other gaming publications. This is the “Me Generation”. There’s nothing wrong with putting the “I” word all over the place.

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have to send my subscription.

Buy Game! Magazine and find out first hand if they truly “got game”.
