Artinsite Magazine’s The Covers Project Update

September 13, 2008

Well, the Artinsite Magazine’s The Covers Project is going to end this Monday. That was according to their website.

I was one of the thousands of artists who made a cover just for the historical event. At the sound of “The Philippines’ first arts appreciation magazine”, they got me.

My cover concept was”Literature meets Photography”. I incorporated my two favorite forms of art into one cover but I’m still skeptical about its value. I did send it though so that counts for something. All this excitement is going to kill me and to think they’re going to publish those covers, along with the launching of the official website, in January. Pretty long time for some rush eh?

In any case, I’m also willing to contribute, hopefully I get paid in the process, some of my yet published poems and short stories. In Layman’s terms, I’m going to sell exclusive literature that are yet to see the light. If anything, it’s going to open doors for me and that’s about the real point of this guy’s life. *points to self*
